Air Jordan x Vogue – Two Fashionable Sneakers To Hit Stores Soon
Air Jordan has shaken hands with Vogue for its first-ever only-women’s collection. The footwear giant has tapped just the right person for this range. Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine, of course, knows more about the latest trends and fashion than most people.
This collaboration will be giving birth to two new Air Jordan renditions; Air Jordan 1 High Zip AWOK and Air Jordan 3 SE AWOK. AWOK is what Wintour signs when approving creative write-ups. If you’re wondering what AWOK stands for, it’s Anna Wintour Okay. That said, let’s have a look at these two sneakers in detail.
Air Jordan 1 High Zip AWOK
For those who have a taste for futuristic designs, this pair is right for them! It comes with a soft leather upper that features metallic zipper details. A zip runs up the middle, toward the tongue. A snazzy unique detail that has been added to the design: an air tag that reads, ‘Edited by Vogue.’
Swooshes representing the brand have been marked on the sidewalls whereas the AWOK signature has been given places on the tongue and the sole of the sneakers. The Nike Air tag also takes some space right above the ‘Edited by Vogue’ hashtag. The shoe is set to come in two color schemes; soft sail and university red.
The white details of the shoe standout amid the bright tones. Precise stitching also shows, accentuating the fine and dapper style of the shoes.
These are the type of shoes, which look stellar when paired with a pair of skinny jeans. Their look makes them perfect for colder weathers. However, they would also look amazing with a plaid skirt for a preppy-chic look or with cropped pants or denim shorts for cutesy vibes.
The pair is set to drop in major locations at retail shops on July 21 for a limited time. It will drop in full force on July 23.
Air Jordan 3 SE AWOK
Closeup pictures of the Air Jordan 3 SE AWOK are out, but the curtain has not been raised on more details. This iteration of the Air Jordan 3 sneakers has a tweed upper. It also comes with an ‘Edited by Vogue’ hashtag only that this pair’s entire design, including this tag, is way more glammed up and trendy.
A glimpse of the shoes shows that they will be shiny perfection. The sneakers will be available in two color schemes; black and red. White details will take their place, and the AWOK sign will also be seen on these shoes albeit in a more prominent and snazzy way.
These ones look party-ready. They’re set to drop in stores on September 7.
Both of these pairs would be coming in premium packaging, enclosed in suede dust bags. The pricing for these two new footwear options has not been revealed yet but expect it to match the top-end design and packing of the sneakers.
